In Luke 10:25-29 Jesus reminds us that we are cognitively hard wired for connectedness. He calls us to ‘love God… love our neighbour’. It is in this that we discover what is the human experience. Genesis 1 reminds us that we are created in the image of God and made for community, yet there is so much brokenness. Pastor Jarrod Flack asks “What is the fire extinguisher that threatens to disconnect us as God’s people?” The better our relationship with God the better we’ll be connected with those around us.
