There Paul teaches the keys to marital success: firstly, a meaningful relationship to Jesus Christ (vv 1,5); and secondly, a measured relationship to each other (vv 2-4).
Last week Paul spoke into the subject of singles from 1 Corinthians 7. While he mentions that those who marry “do well”, he insists that “he who refrains from marriage will do even better” (vv. 37-38).
